Seti Toyfriend Silicone Waterproof Vibrator

The Seti Toyfriend is a beautiful blue vibrator that doesn’t wholly subscribe to the typical shapes of most vibrators out there.  The top of this vibrating wonder is shaped a bit like a satellite dish with a little nubbin in the middle.  Maybe the shape is more like a flower with that center part (the stigma) sticking out.  Regardless of what you think this is shaped like, it is still pretty awesome.  And bonus…it comes with it’s own little stand!

The Seti itself is made of silicone that is smooth and velvety to the touch.  Even the base that unscrews for battery placement is made of silicone.  It takes 2 AAA batteries which come with your Toyfriend.  Once you unscrew the bottom  and put the batteries in, give the toy a good first time cleaning, you’re all set.  The power button is on the bottom and you just press it to turn it on and cycle through the vibration patterns.  To turn it off, press and hold the button in.  The  vibrations for the Seti are concentrated in the top of the body and transmitted to the tip, similar to rabbit type vibes clitoral arms.

There are five different vibration patterns available to choose from.  There’s a medium strength steady vibration, a strong steady vibration, slow pulse, medium pulse and fast pulse.  The pulses are as strong as the strong steady vibration.  When I say ‘strong’ I don’t mean clit numbing, but that little tip at the end is moving pretty quick.  When holding the Seti in your hand, the vibrations are pretty quiet but if you lay it down on anything, it gets pretty loud.  I’m actually pretty impressed with how strong the vibrations of this tame looking vibe are.

I found that I prefer the either of the steady vibration settings when I’m using the Seti.  The little tip kind of flicks and tickles the clit in a wonderful way.  I personally prefer some pressure on my clit and I found that was a bit awkward with the Seti.  The little nubbin is rounded but it still felt kind of sharp at times on my sensitive clit.  It took a little maneuvering and playing around to find the right way to apply it so that it felt comfortable and good in a getting off kind of way.  The outer disc part of the top added some additional nice vibrations to my labia and brought a surprising amount of focus to the center even though it was massaging other parts.   The tip also feels nice tickling the nipples for some warm up or foreplay. This isn’t really an insertable toy in my mind and that wasn’t something I attempted with it.

Since the Seti is made of silicone, make sure you only use water-based lubricants with it. If you use a silicone-based lubricant it could cause a reaction between the silicones and result in damage to your toy. I love storing the Seti in it’s little stand. I’m not sure what makes it so great, but I really do love it.  I think I just like having a different option from tossing it in a drawer or storage bag.  Incidentally, I haven’t had as much problem with dust, lint, and dog hair sticking to the silicone of the Seti for some reason. I still wash it before and after each use though, just in case. You can clean the Seti with warm water and anti-bacterial soap or with a 10% bleach solution.

If the Seti Toyfriend is a vibrator that sounds like the right strength and variety of features for you, you can find it at Good Vibrations, a retailer who sells sex toys for women.

Thank  you to Good Vibrations for providing the Seti for me to try out and review!
