We’ve all heard the raves about the newest harness on the sex toy scene, the RodeoH. So, naturally, I had to investigate. I got the red and black briefs because I love that bright pop of red in these and they just look so comfy.
So, what’s up with these briefs? They’re more than just briefs, obviously. they have a little pocket that is directly behind the stretchy o-ring so you can put our dildo or packer in and still feel the soft cotton against your skin. Stretchy o-rings definitely seem to be the thing in fabric harnesses these days and I have to say that its a great feature. This allows for your harness to accommodate multiple sized dildos without having to keep track of a bunch of o-rings. And…that also means you can change dildos mid-play without a lot of work. Why is that great? Maybe your partner likes to start with a smaller dildo and work up to a bigger one. You might get the o-ring a bit lube-y but you can definitely switch the dildos out with little interruption.
My favorite thing about this harness is that it is so un-harness-like. There are no straps to adjust, no velcro noises during adjustment. You just slip it on like underwear and insert your dildo or packer (or you can put the toy in first) and go. These briefs are so comfortable that they can be worn all day long, which is great if your packing. They have a wide elastic waist band which keeps the briefs from sliding, slouching or folding while supporting the weight of whatever toy you are using.
The stretchy o-ring can accommodate up to a 2 inch diameter toy and is recommended with a 5 to 6 inch length toy. As you can see in the picture, my Vamp Silicone Lolita fits in it quite well. Lolita is 4.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter, so pretty close to the recommended specs. The o-ring is placed perfectly so that during use you get the friction from thrusting, which is half the fun in my opinion.
Comfort is like the forte of the RodeoH briefs. They are so soft and light feeling. The material is 95% cotton and 5% spandex, so they are breathable, always a plus. They’re also machine washable which no one will complain about. And…they come in a great variety of sizes! The sizing is done by hip sizes so just measure your hips and then pick the size where you fall. RodeoH also has boxer briefs, which I’d love to try out as well.
These are my favorite 3 harnesses that I own. As you can see, I have one more empty hook there on my door. I think I need to fill it with a quality leather harness but if I get my hands on a RodeoH boxer brief…the leather may not have a spot!
