Spotlight On: Vamp Silicone

I’ve recently had the opportunity to review a couple of great toys from a company that is quickly moving up in my list of favorites, Vamp Silicone. I have reviewed (and loved!) their Coco and Lolita dildos and can’t wait to try more. I don’t know about you, but I’m always curious about how the companies and shops I love got started, which products they love, and just what they’re like. So I thought I’d find out and share. Here are 11 questions and answers about this very cool company:

1.        How did Vamp Silicone get started? By a group of employees in the sex toy store industry who saw a need for a dildo company that produced products of the highest quality using only the safest materials, and while making dildos for everyone and every use, specializing products for harness use!

2.      How many people are a part of the Vamp Silicone team?  Only three!  One dildo maker, one sales person, and one administrative.  We are small, but efficient and know our dildos!

3.       How did you choose the name ‘Vamp Silicone’?  We wanted something seductive, succinct, and sassy.

4.       Why did you choose silicone over other materials available for sex toys?  In today’s market, it is the only smart material to use insofar as health and wellness are concerned.  Unlike its jelly and rubber cousins, silicone can be sanitized by boiling, dishwasher, etc., because it has a 900+ degrees melting point!  As well, it warms quickly, holds heat, and distributes vibrations evenly and intensley.

5.       On average, how long does it take to make a dildo?  That’s hard to say because they are made in batches, how long does it take to make one muffin versus twelve?!?

6.       Which toy is your favorite and do you have a favorite color?  Really, the Elvis because it is the most life-like (if that’s what you’re in to) and has great reach.  Alternatively, any of the Talulas.  Both the Elvis and the Talulas are angled for the most anatomically genuine positioning when using in a harness.  Note: The Elvis is so amazingly sexy!!  It is at the top of my personal dildo wishlist right now!

7.       What’s the difference between the regular skin and soft skin silicone? Simple as one is softer than the other.

8.       Any new things coming out this year that you can share?  We are working on a traditional old-styled double!  Note: I’m actually pretty excited about that, can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

9.       You have dildos, packers, and anal toys but do you have any plans to expand into the world of masturbation sleeves for men? Possibly, although we haven’t analytically gone there yet.

10.   Vamp Silicone dildos are harness compatible, is there a harness you recommend for use with them?  Yes! The Spareparts.  The Talulas and Elvis were specifically designed around it.

11.   Is there anything else you’d like to share about your company?  We are woman-owned!

Basically, your choices are practically endless!
