Picobong Honi

Oh, Honi, how I wanted to love you.  I really did.  I tried over and over with different toy combinations, different times of day, alone and with a partner.  It just wasn’t meant to be.  This vibrator is from Picobong, a company owned by LELO.  In theory, this would be a great little clit vibe.  In reality, it just fails so completely.

First lets talk about the things that the Honi has going for it. The body of the Honi is silicone that is smooth and velvety to the touch. I love the feel of the silicone, its just like the silicone on the Koa, which I like more than the Honi. The cap that unscrews for battery placement is made of ABS plastic that is hard and smooth to the touch. The other thing that the Honi has going for it is the amount of vibrations available. The vibrations include: Slow pulse, medium pulse, fast pulse, super fast pulse, a low to high climbing vibe, a faster climbing vibe, a slow rolling vibe , medium rolling vibe (my preferred), combination cimbing vibe followed by three pulses, faster combo with 4 pulses, and a couple different erratic combos with varying strength. All together 12 different settings.  The vibrations are controlled with buttons,  a  ‘+’ and ‘-‘ sign, that are built into the body.   The plus is located in the center of the ‘b’ in ‘Picobong’ and the minus is in the ‘P’. The vibrations can be decreased or increased using the buttons. You access the vibration patterns by going to the highest steady vibration and then pressing and holding the plus sign. You can return to steady vibrations at any time by pressing the minus sign again.

Now why don’t these things add up to an amazing experience? The problem is that the vibrations just aren’t strong enough, regardless of which setting I use. The Koa Ring and Honi have almost the same body shape, the only diffreence being the plastic ring at the end of the Koa Ring, but for some reason, the Koa Ring is slightly more powerful. I cannot figure out why this is. It makes no sense at all. I even switched their batteries and did another side by side test but had the same result. I think that the Honi‘s vibrations are not as concentrated as the Koa Ring’s are. The Honi seems to have more all over buzzy vibrations whereas the strongest vibrations seem to be in the tip for the Koa ring. Whatever the cause, my clit is not amused, entertained, or turned on. Every time I tested it, it wasn’t long before I got frustrated and tossed it aside to use a stronger vibe.

So, my frustration led to some silly brainstorming on Twitter with other bloggers about what other uses I could designate my orgasm-less Honi for. I came up with three ways to re-purpose your Honi.
Re-purpose #1- Glue feathers to the Honi and use as toy for your cat…that vibrates. Think of the endless hours of fun your cat could have! The vibrations would cause the feathers to shake and tantalize your cat all the more.
Re-Purpose #2- Decorate your Honi with glitter, beads, or garland and make a pretty Christmas ornament.
Re-purpose #3- Is your fan cord a little short? Extend it with your Honi!

I don’t have a cat and it isn’t Christmas, so I only enacted one of these suggestions, purely for your entertainment:

But seriously, if you have a super sensitive clit or you really, really want to grind a toy against yourself, this could work for you. And if you are going to use it, you can clean it with warm water and anti-bacterial soap. This is a waterproof toy (up to three feet) so washing it is easy and safe for the toy so long as you keep the cap screwed on tightly.

Thanks to Babeland for providing this free for an honest review. Even though this vibrator didn’t quite work for me, it was still fun testing it out.  If you  are looking for a great clitoral vibe, I have to reccomend the Pin Up Vibe which blows the Honi right out of the bed!
